
Fighting fake news with fake news
The Problem:
A lot of Filipinos are susceptible to fake news especially the ones that feature famous celebrities.
The Idea:
Turning the problem into an opportunity, we used the trolls greatest tool to fight back against them, deep fake technology. We created fake holiday announcement using the face of the Philippines' biggest Christmas icon, Jose Mari Chan.
